Asmat dijo al diario Star de Malasia que el objetivo es poder hacer el anuncio la próxima semana. «Vamos a dar el nombre de dos pilotos y un reserva. Las negociaciones aún están en marcha», anunció.
Asmat dijo también que el coche 2010 se pondrá a prueba en febrero en el circuito de Sepang.
Se espera que sea el malayo Fairuz Fauzy el piloto de reserva, y los nombres de los pilotos saldrán de entre los candidatos que ya se venían rumoreando en las últimas semanas: Jarno Trulli, Kamui Kobayashi, Takuma Sato o Jacques Villeneuve.
