El compañero de equipo de Alonso, el novato Lewis Hamilton, ha sufrido un grave accidente en los entrenamientos que la escuderÃa McLaren celebra a puerta cerrada en Cheste.
Afortunadamente Hamiltón salió ileso del accidente, pero su monoplaza no podrá ser reparado a tiempo para completar su programa de entrenamientos de mañana en Valencia.
Antes del accidente, el británico, consiguió dar 33 giros al circuito valenciano, pero no consiguió ser más rápido que Alonso, que le superó en 7 décimas, eso si, tras completar 76 vueltas.
