Más noticias sobre el futuro de Robert Kubica llegarán «pronto», según su patrocinador.
El primer día del año, se anunció que el ex piloto de Williams sería la reserva de Alfa Romeo en 2020.
Kubica, de 35 años, quiere combinar ese papel con un asiento de carrera en la serie alemana de turismos DTM, y ha estado estrechamente relacionado con BMW.
Speed Week afirma que si bien aún no se ha firmado un contrato, el polaco podría estar cerca de llegar a un acuerdo con un equipo de clientes de BMW.
Daniel Obajtek, presidente del patrocinador de Kubica, PKN Orlen, dijo sobre el piloto polaco: «No estamos abandonando la idea de que Robert esté en el DTM y en la Fórmula 1».
«Él mismo tampoco ve ningún problema en combinar. Habrá noticias pronto».
