La leyenda del rally Carlos Sainz snr dice que Fernando Alonso está «muy interesado» en disputar el famoso Rally Dakar.
En la actualidad, el dos veces campeón Alonso está reduciendo los rumores que lo vinculan con un regreso a la Fórmula 1 el año que viene, pero tampoco está descartándolo.
Al mismo tiempo, hay informes de que Toyota está interesado en correr con Alonso, de 37 años, en Dakar el próximo año. Probó un Toyota Hilux en mayo.
«Sería muy bueno para nosotros formar un equipo, y sé que Fernando tiene muchas ganas de ir a Dakar», dijo Sainz, cuyo hijo del mismo nombre compite en la F1 con McLaren, al periódico deportivo Marca.
El Rally Dakar 2020 tendrá lugar en Arabia Saudí el próximo mes de enero.
