BMW todavía no está interesado en regresar a la Fórmula 1 en la era de la 'unidad de potencia'.
El fabricante alemán se retiró del deporte en 2009, con su programa principal de automovilismo ahora centrado en la Fórmula E con el equipo de Andretti.
La F1 ha introducido nuevas reglas radicales para 2021, y un objetivo es atraer a nuevos fabricantes al deporte.
Pero el jefe de carreras Jens Marquardt dice que BMW todavía no está interesado.
«El turbo híbrido V6 no tiene nada que ver con lo que hacemos en la producción de automóviles (de carretera)», dijo a Auto Bild.
«Desde una perspectiva de ingeniería, digo lo que hacen en la Fórmula 1, pero la tecnología no tiene relevancia para el camino».
