La segunda sesión de libres ha servido para aclarar un poco el panorama de cara al desenlace del Gran Premio de Italia 2012, de momento los McLaren han enseñado músculo, Lewis Hamilton y Jenson Button han sido primero y segundo respectivamente, aunque los Ferrari se han mantenido muy cerca.
En los tifosi mal sabor de boca en esta jornada de entrenamientos, tanto el coche de Felipe Massa como el de Fernando Alonso han tenido problemas, aunque desde el equipo apuntan a que no es nada grave y que no pondrá en peligro la carra del domingo en el templo de la velocidad de Monza.
