El 25 de enero de 2007 Honda Racing presentará su nuevo monoplaza para 2007, el RA107. El director de equipo japonés, Nick Fry, ha declarado que veremos un cocepto muy diferente en Honda, no estará lleno de los logos de la marca, y tendrá un enfoque diferente con el fin de atraer a posibles patrocinadores.
Por su parte Williams hará lo propio con el nuevo FW29 el 2 de febrero, en las instalaciones de su fábrica de Grove, cerca de Oxford (Gran Bretaña). El nuevo monoplaza montará motores Toyota, y tras la presentación se trasladarán al circuito de Jerez para continuar con el calendario de entrenamientos.
