Kimi Raikkonen, el sábado no pudo colarse entre los diez primeros en la clasificación de Abu Dhabi, mientras que para encontrar el otro monoplaza de Ferrari, el de Giancarlo Fisichella, hay que irse hasta el final de la parrilla.
El jefe del equipo Stefano Domenicali, ha defendido la decisión de parar la evolución del monoplaza de 2009: «Tenemos un coche diseñado con una base que no puede ser competitivo el año que viene».
«Por eso tomamos la decisión de detener su evolución. Como con todo, el tiempo dirá si teníamos razón», afirmó Domenicali.
El presidente de Ferrari Luca di Montezemolo, también en Abu Dhabi este fin de semana, agregó: «No me molesta esta temporada, ha terminado».
