El alemán Adrián Sutil fue el más rápido en la segunda sesión de entrenamientos libres del Gran Premio de Italia de Fórmula 1, en la que el italiano Giancarlo Fisichella, debutante en Ferrari, quedó último.
Sutil, hasta el fin de semana pasado compañero de Fisichella en Force India, marcó un tiempo de 1:23:924, seguido por el francés Romain Grosjean con 1:24:163 y el español Fernando Alonso con 1:24:297.
Cuarto fue el finlandés Heikki Kovalainen con 1:24:482 y quinto el polaco Robert Kubica con 1:24:622, delante de los alemanes Timo Glock y Nick Heidfeld.

Fisichella, que llegó a Ferrari tras los malos malos resultados de su compatriota Luca Badoer al reemplazar a Felipe Massa, marcó 1:25:543 terminando el vigésimo y último.
